Al-Taj News – Yemen’s Information Minister said that the Houthi group launched two missiles that landed near a Yemeni aircraft preparing to take off from Aden Airport for Cairo on Friday, warning that the incident endangers passengers’ lives, threatens aviation safety, and violates international laws and norms.
Two sources in the Aden police, which is based in the city that serves as the temporary headquarters of Yemen’s internationally backed government, told Agence France-Presse that two missiles had landed in the vicinity of the airport. An agency photographer also reported hearing two explosions in the area.
Meanwhile, the Houthi-affiliated Saba News Agency announced that the targets were “the Saudi forces’ command headquarters at Badr Camp in Aden Governorate and weapons depots at the camp.”
